Ready for a tour through the entire territory?

Lake of Banyoles

It is the largest lake in Catalonia. Its turquoise water, the ducks, its wooden jetty and the mountains that surround it make Baños an idyllic place. It is usually quiet and there is always room to have a good time and even for a swim in the lake.

The most traveled part is the one of its nautical Club, located in one of its ends. This private enclosure has a huge lawn where you can sunbathe, it has also different facilities for water sports. During the Olympic Games of Barcelona 92 it served as the stage for the rowing competition.

Lake of Mauritius

It is located in the municipality of Espot, in the National Park of Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici, in one of the most beautiful areas of the Pyrenees. Lake San Mauricio is located in a glacier area and is surrounded by about 50 other lakes and lagoons. A spectacular setting in the middle of nature for your next high mountain audiovisual project.

Lake of Puigcerdà

Its origin, in the twelfth century, is said to have been a small natural reservoir. Fed by the irrigation ditch of Puigcerdà, it has supplied water to irrigate, to clean the sewage system and to deal with fires. This artificial lake, the most urban of all, which takes the water from the Querol river, usually freezes in winter, creating an idyllic image of luxury and tranquility for your most exclusive photographic shooting.

Sau Reservoir

It is located in the municipality of Vilanova de Sau and very close to Vic, in the province of Barcelona. It is man made, and therefore it may not have the same charm as natural lakes, but the environment, surrounded by the massif of the Guilleries and the church of San Román, makes this a charming place.

Its waters come from the River Ter and are ideal for a photographic shooting or an audiovisual production with water sports or swimwear.

Lake of Montcortès

Pulling to the north, just outside the town of Montcortés, we find this incredible lake that seems to have been forgotten, even by the inhabitants of Montcortès itself. It does not matter if you go in the middle of summer, there you will find hardly any locals reading, fishing or enjoying a bath. If you are looking for tranquility and nature for your audiovisual production, this is your place.

Lake d'Ivars and Vila-Sana

L’Estany d’Ivars i Vila-sana has a surface of 126 hectares. It is the largest inland pond in Catalonia. It is a freshwater lagoon, feed by the Urgell canal.

At many places the depth is very low (1 m). The maximum does not reach four meters, and the averige depth is 2 m. Along the pond have been created islands with different shapes, slopes, heights and locations. Do you want to miss this location for the audiovisual project you have in mind?

Lake of Terradets

Located at the foot of the Montsec mountain range, it extends from the plain of the Conca de Tremp to the interior of the Terradets gorge. Its calm waters, almost always at the same level, make it look much more like a natural lake than a reservoir. You can perform different nautical activities, which you can illustrate in your audiovisual production.

Lagoon of l'Encanyissada

With its extension of 1192 ha. is it the largest lagoon in the Delta. There is the possibility of going around the lagoon, with sections of asphalted or unpaved roads. The route will vary between 12 and 18 km. You choose where to start recording your next audiovisual production. It is characterized by being surrounded by helophytic or fresh water vegetation, the most prevalent, as well by halophilic vegetation, adapted to the saline of the terrain.

Salinas de la Trinidad

Las Salinas de la Trinidad, also called La Ràpita, is a salt work located on the peninsula of La Banya. These traditional salt pans in the Delta del Ebro National Park are composed of deposits formed in the sand that are gradually flooded by the sea. In the process of water evaporation, only 100% natural factors intervene: the action of the sun and the wind.

Lake of Santa Fe del Montseny

The Montseny Natural Park offers a great variety of routes and landscapes very close to Barcelona. In addition to being a World Biosphere Reserve, it is the oldest of the 11 natural parks of Catalonia. The road that reaches Lake Santa Fe is surrounded by lush vegetation and the landscape surrounding the reservoir is of an unique beauty that you can not forget. Will it be the location chosen for your next audiovisual production?

Its dam is located in the municipality of Fogás de Monclús, at a thousand metres of altitude. The reservoir is fed by several streams, among which Santa Fe river stands out.

Sant Antoni reservoir

One of the most beautiful places in Catalonia is the Sant Antoni reservoir, in the Pallars Jussà region with a great extension that goes from Tremp to La Pobla de Segur. It is made suitable at different points for swimming. It was built between 1913 and 1916 and at that time it was the largest water retention dam in Europe and the fourth in the world. It is currently the largest and deepest freshwater surface in Catalonia.

The name comes from the hermitage of San Antonio de Susterris, which was submerged under the waters. Today, when the reservoir is very low, you can still see the tip of the bell tower.

Siurana Reservoir

The Priorat region is like a separate world within the country, and within it there is another small world, the town of Siurana and the reservoir that can be seen from it. Siurana is an isolated village, practically on the edge of a rocky limestone cliff, which maintains its old stone houses and, above all, it offers you impressive panoramic views of the reservoir that will be the envy of your photographic shooting.

Swamp of Foix

The Foix Park is located in the Alt Penedès region and covers an area of 2,900 hectares. Its landscape consists of vineyards, castles and water.

The Foix reservoir is one of the few wetlands in this area, characterized by a drier environment. It was created at the beginning of the 20th century to supply water to the Garraf region. It is surrounded by holm oaks, pine trees and vegetation typical for wetlands.

Lake Gento

It is one of the lakes of the Jous group of lakes. The one located lower than all of them. It occupies the center of a perfect glacial basin, excavated on granite rock, which has the classic amphitheater shape. It measures 812 metres long by 440 metres wide. It has a trapezoidal shape and its surface is 25.8 Ha.
