ENJOY A DAY AT THE BEACH OF LA BARCELONETA.

The Barceloneta Beach is the oldest in Barcelona.

Without a doubt, the Barceloneta Beach is also the most visited by the majority of foreigners who visit Barcelona and the people of the city, especially those who practice beach volleyball and thanks to its central location.

Located between Sant Sebastià Beach and Somorrostro Beach, La Barceloneta is the oldest beach in Barcelona and one of the largest. Its excellent location and easy access by public transport makes it one of the beaches preferred by foreign users and local youths who practice sports activities.

An ideal beach for shootings.

Refurbished before the 1992 Olympic Games, the beach is located in the neighborhood of La Barceloneta, in the district of Ciutat Vella, a neighborhood with a maritime tradition where one can taste a paella, fish or seafood in one of the many restaurants.

With the impressive candle-shaped figure of the Hotel W on one side of the beach and the slender Torres Mafre and Hotel Arts on the other, the Barceloneta beach offers great views and an ideal landscape for any image or video production with the city of Barcelona on the background.

We used the Barceloneta beach for the shooting of the Tucano bike, during sunrise, ideal and the perfect hour to do our work. La Barceloneta has also been used for commercials and music video clips, such as the one made by the Colombian singer Shakira with the Spanish version of her song « Loca ».
