Inside « Wonderland », a particular chromatic forest that the signature brand Escorpion presented during the 080 Barcelona Fashion Show.

The 20th edition of the 080 Barcelona Fashion Show took place last week in the Modernist Center of Sant Pau. The venue where the Barcelona Fashion Show took place is a newly created space that has turned an old hospital of modernist architecture into a landmark exhibition building in the city of Barcelona, merging history and innovation and making it a must-visit as it is one of the architectural jewels of the Ciudad Condal.

We were there to witness the autumn-winter 2017/18 collection of Escorpion, winning company of the MODACC award, that has since 1929 designed high quality women clothing with a contemporary and exquisite style that adapts to fashion trends but always with a very personal style.

Since 2003, with the arrival of its creative director Sybille Horaist, Escorpion received a breath of fresh air introducing more new and contemporary forms but always respecting the style of the Catalan brand.

In 2015 Escorpion Studio Barcelona is born, a version of the brand that bets for creations a little more risky and sotisficadas like those that we had the pleasure of witnessing on the catwalk. « Wonderland » is the name of this collection introducing women who live in a forest that unites the worlds of light and darkness. A mixture of gray, black, green and brown colors of autumn with some transparent tulle, jacquards and elegant textures representing the darker side.

On the other hand we find the most vivid colors that transmit light. Orange, blue, red, glowing yellow that evoke more joyful feelings.

Last week, we did a lookbook for Escorpion. 3 days with 3 different models and an extensive collection of 170 looks that were carried out in a dynamic and entertaining vibe. Thanks for the great teamwork all!
