Miravet
District: Ribera d’Ebre (Tarragona)
Distance from Barcelona: 160 Km (2 hours aprox.)
It’s enclave and the verticality of the red rock on which the castle is built deserve your special attention. The town seems to climb away from the bank of the Ebro until finishing by the wall of its castle on the top of the hill.
It is advisable to travel from the paved driveway of the southern access to the archaeological remains of the Berber village, at the foot of the castle, from which you also have incredible views on the Ebro, the Tamarig meander, the lush riverside forest and the Dolomite formations through which it passes.
Siurana
District: Priorat (Tarragona)

We can admire a charming village with medieval houses and cobbled streets crowned by a Romanesque church of the XII century and the remains of a Saracen fortress on the edge of a huge rock and rocky cliff. At his feet, a swamp of clean and calm waters.

It is one of the most intact and complete medieval settlements in the area and is declared a Historic-Artistic Complex for its level of conservation,. It has developed around its fairytail castle, has labyrinthine streets with by vine covered walls and windows.
Peratallada has been able to preserve its medieval essence without seasonings. The harmony of the buildings gives it an architectural balance in which there are no stridencies or extravagances. It immerse you fully in the middle age and is a fantastic área for your next photographic shooting or audiovisual production.
Monells
District: Baix Empordà (Girona)

Monells grew around the old castle, although today only the wall remains. Formerly, it was the home of one of the most important markets in the area. This small medieval town of 182 inhabitants is located near the river Rissec, where tourism was limited to the connoisseurs of the área, but now it is famous, thanks to the film « 8 Catalan surnames ».
For your next project of production or shooting it is worth to discover its alleys contemplating the beauty of the houses, the magnificent fire tower on the Plaza Mayor and the Church San Ginés in Gothic style.
Besalú
District: La Garrotxa (Girona)

Besalú is a village of medieval origin that grew around a fortress, the Castle of Besalú, although its main claim is the Pont Vell, of Romanesque origin and the fortified access to Besalú with its narrow and winding alleys, some without exit that are kept almost in perennial shadow by the buildings that surround them.
The bridge, which crosses the river Fluvià was declared of cultural interest and is a perfect setting for an audiovisual production or photographic shooting in the middle of nature.
Castellfollit de la Roca
District: La Garrotxa (Girona)

Castellfollit de la Roca is one of the smallest municipalities in Catalonia. It is bordered by the confluence of the Fluvià and the Toronell river, where we find a spectacular basaltic wall of 50 meters high and almost one kilometer in width, as if it were naturally walled.
The old quarter build with volcanic material is of medieval times, the narrow streets of the village fare leading to the old church of Sant Salvador, at the end of the cliff, and you find there a viewpoint with priviliged views ideal for framing your next audiovisual or photographic projects
Rupit y Pruit

It is the only witness of fortified medieval construction that exists in all the Catalan coast.
