DYSTOPIA IN PARC DEL FÒRUM.
Parc del Fòrum: an ideal space for events and the production of shootings and publicity photographs.
Parc del Fòrum was created in 2004 and was designed by Elías Torres and José Antonio Martínez Lapeña. It was originally meant to host the Universal Forum of Cultures that was held in Barcelona in the same year. The Fòrum is currently managed by the municipal company of Barcelona City Council (Barcelona Municipal Services) and is a perfect place to host concerts and other types of events. There are festivals every year, like the Primavera Sound, Fiestas de la Mercè and the Festival Cruïlla among others, or in the past the Summercase.
The Parc del Fòrum is located at 12, Pau street, at the Marina Seca Pier, where you can cross Diagonal Avenue, Taulat Street and Rambla de Prim. Access it by metro, bus or tram.
The venue is accessed through the Leonardo Da Vinci Square between the building of the International Convention Center of Barcelona and the Museum of Natural Sciences and if we continue walking we will encounter another square called “Los Fusilados”. The large esplanade in the park is very remarkable. With its 84,000 m² it is the place where the most events and shows are held. The park of the Auditoriums, a 12,000 m² space houses two auditoriums of great capacity and is ideal for hosting concerts.
You can also access the park through La Plaza Ernest Lluch, between the building of the Museum of Natural Sciences and the new building of Telefónica.
The Parc del Fòrum, with its huge spaces, is an ideal place to carry out audiovisual productions and shootings for advertising brands. During the year 2014, for example, more than 100 activities were carried out, the most important were the shootings and advertisements for automobile brands such as: Nissan, Mercedes, BMW, Toyota, Volkswagen, Opel, Ford … and other big brands like Ikea, Mango, Mc Donalds, Rexona and Nike who all chose this space to carry out their commercials.
We carried out a shooting with the clothing brand Dystopia, where we also made a video that you can see below.
Shooting for Dystopia, brand sensitized with « Slow fashion ».
Dystopia is the independent clothing brand of designer Olga, with the stage name Honey Kill. This young woman from Barcelona decided to create her brand in 2014 and has chosen to follow a very clear style. She also moved to Bali from where she currently runs the management of Dystopia, a brand that bets on the color black, both in hats and unisex clothing, known for their symmetry, eccentricity and conceptuality.
The philosophy of Dystopia is based on the « Slow Fashion » or sustainable fashion and is very environmentally conscious. It takes the time to ensure quality production, characterized by having few units and it is working hand in hand with Balinese craftsmen to create unique garments. Designs of clean cuts and fabrics of high quality, designed for an audience that lives the moment and buys according to their needs, ignoring the times and seasons marked by the fashion industry.
Here you can see the work we did for Dystopia in the Parc del Fòrum, a photographic production for Studio080barcelona and an audiovisual for Not Just Fashion that we show below in RVD Media Group.
