The weekend of September 2 and 3 in the Poble Nou Barcelona neighborhood a new edition of Palo Alto Market will take place, the cool street market that every first weekend of the month offers a variety of products ranging from fashion, through organic food stalls (Trucks food) and even vintage accessories, books, jewelry and records, all accompanied by a program of musicians, workshops and art exhibitions that make the whole event a little special.

The Palo Alto Market was born with the support of the Palo Alto Foundation, whose president is Javier Mariscal, the main propeller of the proposal to take the street market to this old factory in Poble nou, turning it into a gastronomic and cultural leisure space and into one of the most popular places at this moment in the city of Barcelona.

With about 150 original exhibitors, Palo Alto Market becomes an unavoidable monthly event for all lovers of gastronomy, fashion or music. A street market with workshops for the whole family to enjoy. The concerts and  dj’s show also occupy an important part of this street market.

In Palo Alto Market we can find temporary art or design facilities where artistic creators and emerging authors from different disciplines present their works in the well-known Art & Design Gallery.

We also find window displays for old and new objects of furniture, lighting, fashion and contemporary design together with vintage clothing and exclusive jewelry collections. In the section of Hand-made, craft and recycling we can find artisan products and the use of disposable materials for conversion into curious objects, two of the highlights of this street market together with the Truck Foods in which young and renowned cooks show that street food should not be at odds with quality.

The price of the entrance to the Palo Alto Market is 4 euros and children under 12 have free admission.
