With an experience of more than 25 years specialized in advertising & fashion photography, Juan Cruz Durán is an Argentinian photographer living in Barcelona for over 15 years.
Juan has worked for big advertising agencies in Europe and America and has shot for brands such as Nike, NBA, DirecTv, Adidas, FCB Futbol Club Barcelona, 3M, Bimbo, Coors Light, Zurich, Ajuntament de Barcelona, Leche Pascual, Yoplait, Mutua Madrileña, Cheerios, among others.
During these years he has also worked for different print media. He has been published in magazines like Playboy, Hola, the Sunday publishing of La Vanguardia, Código Único de La Vanguardia, H Magazine, LO Magazine y much more.
His work has been exposed in Europe and America and has been awarded with several prizes. In 2006 he was awarded by Spain`s Professional Photographers Association (AFP) with two silver LUX awards for his work in nude & fashion. Later on, in 2010 and 2011 he receives two golden awards at Addys Advertising Awards in United States.
In 2008, he worked as a Communication Lead at the Blue Fashion Festival and during the last 10 years he has been professor of advertising photography at the Master Degree in Communication & Advertising at the Design European Institute (IED).
Actually, he combines his work as a photographer with videoclips maker.
